The project of the Software Factory Kommunales Rechenzentrum Niederrhein (KRZN) contains the development of an add-on for the existing KIVi System. This add-on should provide possibilities for the connected communes to create queries for amusement tax. Amusement tax consists of the following topics:

• Dance event (Discotheque)
• Striptease
• Casino
• (Erotic)Movies (Sex-Cinemas)
• Gambling- and game-machines

In future the communes should be able to create statistical evaluations with our add-on.
Therefore it is important to know that the every commune expects different evaluations and results. To make this possible we have to provide several parameters for the communes to specify their query. To get "all not reported gambling machines" could be an example for a query. This query could be sorted by many different facts or specified with a daterange.
Another important topic for this project is Security. Because all data of many different communes are saved central, employees are not allowed to access data from other communes. This security has to be provided by our add-on. This means commune "Moers" is allowed to access only their own queries - and not those from commune "Krefeld". This includes not only the specific queries but also the data in the database. The whole module can be seen as a kind of Plug-in for the existing KIVi System. The module offers a GUI to help employees to choose between the different queries. Additional you can specify the parameter within the GUI (e.g. the daterange).
